Hello.

My name is Guillermo, (William) in English, Gonzalez Sr. I go by "Brother Willie". I’m in Tucson, AZ. I’m 48 yrs. old and have done a total of 8 yrs. of prison time. And why is that important you might ask? It’s important in my life because from the time I was born, till the age of 8 yrs. old, I suffered under the care of family, “loved ones”, care takers, except my mother, who did her best to protect me. I suffered from starvation as a baby to sexual, emotional, phycological, and physical abuse, till I left home “jumped off the porch “at about 8-9 years old. I was winged and groomed to be the worst of the worst of humanity, an animal, per say, Which I was. From the time I left from under my mother’s roof at 8 yrs. old to venture out alone into the world to be a man, I was determined and set out to no longer be a helpless victim but a ruthless victimizer if I had to, when I had to, because I was not going to die, I was determined to survive. I did not have the heart of a bully, but I became a protector, I protected and defended others like me in the streets.

I was taught in the streets of the international sister city Nogales Sonora, Arizona Mexico USA, that to be a man, one had to be more violent than the most violent, and I had the rage and anger inside of me to fuel the violence and the power I needed to be “A man” in that border, smugglers city. I’m from “Ambos Nogales”, not from “This side” or “That side” I’m from both sides of the international fence that cut through my beloved city! I went to “Gladiator school”, “convict college” when I was 14 years old. I was sent to the California Youth Authority from Nogales Az, a whole state away with a federal conviction for smuggling 150 pounds of cocaine. Yeah, at 14 years old I was already rolling with the big boys of the “La Buenos Aires, De la Gente Del Grillo” Already a gang leader of a violent gang in Nogales, AZ. I graduated after a 5-year stint at a prison for youth, with a degree in “Gangster”. I got out when I was 19 years old to continue where I had left off 5 years earlier. And so, continue in a life of violence, greed, sex, drugs, and recidivism. That boy was called “Tubz” Who left the wreckage of that life, in between ambos Nogales, all the way up north in almost every city in between to Sacramento, Ca and the bay area and the surrounding areas and back. Not boasting, just stating a fact, and now, the boy called Tubz of Ambos Nogales is dead. And has been born again through Jesus Christ as Bro Watchmanstuff Willie, The man of God.

Now I plan to go work to make a positive difference this time, by encouraging the young and old to change their way, because this great country of ours has opportunity for everyone and whoever wants to become someone or something in their lives. If that wasn’t true, I wouldn’t be here today. But I no longer do drugs. I have been clean and sober for over 4 years, but not by my own strength but by the strength of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me, with the grace, mercy, love, glory power and strength of God the Father.

Before I got violated from probation in May of 2021, I was getting ready to start my classes at CTU, but God didn’t think I was ready to start this chapter of my life until I finally closed the previous chapter completely off, of a life I once led, back before I surrendered my life over to Jesus Christ, In 2018. Now, I have paid my debt to “Cesar”, (Bible reference) for governing authorities. Now, I’m ready to get my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a Concentration in Human Services. Nice to meet you all. See you in heaven only through Jesus Christ John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Tubz Is Dead, Meet Bro Willie.

I had just gotten out of jail, in the summer of 2018, for an attempted robbery charge. I realized that the devil had it out for me even harder now, since, I had surrendered my life to Jesus in jail. I was put in a crossroads between Jesus and satan. They both looked and waited for me to make a choice of loyalty to one of the two. Grab the ounce of heroin off the table that my brother put there for me to grab and go sell to get back on my feet or, turn around and run out the door, away from Zuleikha, Genesis 9:1-20, I turned and ran. My first triumph over satan of many more.

I'm a disciple of Jesus Christ now, a minister who is a laborer for the kingdom of God, because the harvest is ripe and the laborers few. I'm a college student working on my Bachelor's in The Science of Criminal Justice with A Concentration in Human Services.

I wrote my story in a book to contrast the dark from the light, that includes my story from sexual abuse to drug addictions, from prison to life, rescued through Jesus Christ. I need help getting it out to the world. I'm a college student living in a homeless shelter (as of 06/16/2023 I have been blessed with a place to call home. Thank you for your prayers church.) with no paying (as of 05/01/2023 I have been blessed with a part time source of income, thank you for your prayers church) job but do have a lot of work, that is preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone I run into.
